Join us for an intimate conversation with Salvadoran filmmaker Andre Guttfreund as he screens contemporary films from El Salvador and talks about his role in the growing Central American film industry. Andre currently serves as an Ambassador of the Arts for the Salvadoran Foreign Ministry and oversees the International Film Festival of El Salvador.

For the first time ever in Houston, Salvadoran filmmaker Andre Guttfreund will screen the documentary El Desagravio. The documentary written by Gianni Beretta & Patrik Soergel is about the life of the Archbishop of San Salvador, Oscar Romero, and journey to sainthood.
