As SXSW Film Festival wrapped up, it was our turn to sit in the Theater C to watch CACHADA and enjoy the Q&A with Marlén & André .
This last screening was very special for our founder, Maria, who watched the film along side her mother and grandmother.
Thanks to Marlen’s vision, three generations of strong Salvadoran women were able to see parts of their lives reflected on screen as so many women did throughout the week.

On a quick visit to the theater on 6th Street we were happy to learn that as the SXSW Film Festival rolls on, the buzz about this Salvadoran documentary continues to grow.

A touching send off for the cast of CACHADA before they travel back to El Salvador, marking this screening as the last time the cast/crew would be in attendance at SXSW. Thank You Marlén, André and the cast/crew of La Cachada Teatro for this beautiful piece of art.

Still on a high from everything that happened on Day 1 at SXSW! Felicidades Cachada on the world premiere of the incredibly raw documentary, to the ladies of La Cachada Teatro for opening up to us all and Marlen & Andre for capturing and producing the film. El Salvador made a huge presence on 6th St. & everyone took notice of the love & energy from those that saw the film.
