THE FIRST-EVER SALVADORAN HERITAGE NIGHT AT HOUSTON DYNAMO FC IS IN THE BOOKS!! 🇸🇻⚽

On behalf of the organizing team, thank you for being part of the first-ever Salvadoran Heritage Night with Houston Dynamo FC. Over 300 members of the community gathered at Pitch 25 to celebrate Salvadoran culture, pride, and love for fútbol.

✔️ Deborah Deleon & DJ Rosez pumped the audience with their incredible energy  

✔️ Everyone got to shop at the Puchica Voz mini market & sport their commemorative scarf by Eduardo Alexander

✔️ We celebrated our former Salvadoran professional players (ASEFUSAL) and paid tribute to Salvadoran soccer legend Jaime “La Chelona” Rodriguez thanks to Daniel Mejia, La Voz del Houston Dynamo

✔️ Thrivent sponsored the delicious food & drinks and collected toys for Friends of El Salvador

✔️ The Consul General of El Salvador, Lic. Alexander Garcia, recognized Central American Collective’s Founder, Maria Vilma Duran, for her support of the Salvadoran community and impact through her work in sports

✔️ Councilmember Joaquin Martinez recognized Central American Collective for their cultural impact across Houston

The march to Shell Energy Stadium was unforgettable as a wave of blue and white entered the Hustle Town Gate. Everyone felt the Salvadoran community’s vibrant energy throughout the game and especially as Houston’s team delivered an exciting win. 💙⚽🎊
